Hangover 2 Movie review

“When a monkey nibbles on a weenis, it’s funny in any language.”
The Hangover 2 came out this Memorial Day weekend and shattered box office records pulling in $86.5 million. Everyone was happy to see that Hangover 1 was definitely not a one hit wonder. However, did the first Hangover movie provide a "free-pass" for the sequel?
Stu (Ed Helms) is getting married in Thailand and brings along his best buddies: Phil, Doug and of course . . . Alan . After a Bonfire toast the boys wake up in Bangkok with Mr. Chow, a monkey, a Tyson tattoo, a mean Hangover and no memory of the crazy night they just had.
The overall storyline is pretty much the same as the first movie, which I actually found to be kind of genius . The movie is full of laughs and signature shock-value moments. I loved Hangover 2 and give it 5 smoking monkeys!

I just saw this. The writers definitely had to go for the shock-value jokes but the whole theatre was still in stitches. I need to see it again just to catch all the one-liners I missed the first time around. - Kat
