Hangover 2 Movie review

“When a monkey nibbles on a weenis, it’s funny in any language.”
The Hangover 2 came out this Memorial Day weekend and shattered box office records pulling in $86.5 million. Everyone was happy to see that Hangover 1 was definitely not a one hit wonder. However, did the first Hangover movie provide a "free-pass" for the sequel?
Stu (Ed Helms) is getting married in Thailand and brings along his best buddies: Phil, Doug and of course . . . Alan . After a Bonfire toast the boys wake up in Bangkok with Mr. Chow, a monkey, a Tyson tattoo, a mean Hangover and no memory of the crazy night they just had.
The overall storyline is pretty much the same as the first movie, which I actually found to be kind of genius . The movie is full of laughs and signature shock-value moments. I loved Hangover 2 and give it 5 smoking monkeys!

Jack is Back !

Pirates
It is definitely not unheard of for the fourth installment of a famous series to flop! aaaannndd cue : Indiana Jones, Final destination, Shrek, Rambo, Scream, Land Before Time 4 through 36. . .you get my point.
Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides surely had very high demands to meet as the Pirates movie franchise has made Disney over 2.6 Billion
Cap’n Jack Sparrow, played by The Depp, escapes from London and learns that someone is impersonating him in order to create a crew to find the fountain of youth. As he is determined to get to the fountain first, he quickly draws sail with Captain Barbosa (Geoffrey Rush), old flame Angelica (Depp's Blow co-star Penelope Cruz) being Cruz, she's Spanish, sexy and feisty. . .and that's about it. Finally, the legendary pirate Blackbeard (Ian McShane), a leathery skinned captain whose orange complexion suggests he's spent long years trapped in a tanning bed or the roof of Caesar's Palace.
The Pirates of The Caribbean movies are always entertaining as was this one yet the problem is that its all become very predictable or insanely confusing. Why are there zombies on the ship? and why are they part of the crew? Why is there a voodoo doll of Jack and where the F did it come from? Since when does Jack Sparrow's ship have Go-Go-Gadget flamethrowers?
You're not James Bond, rock the sword Jack !
I give this movie 3 hot mermaids out of 5

Special thank to Rob for Inviting us to the premiere!

Save The Date!

The "Chick Flick" , often leaving every man in the theater desperately searching to see if any of his fellow male species have also been tortuously dragged into the same dark room in hopes of justifying their presence there and perhaps not feel like as much of a tool. Although this was no 2 and a half hour Sex and The City flick there was still a hefty dose of estrogen in the kool-aid. Bridesmaid was in short, The Hangover for chicks. Only they are 6 girls...and the bride doesn't get lost and end up on a roof.. and they actually don't even go to Vegas, or have a bachelorette and they definitely don't find any tigers or babies in their hotel room but you will laugh just as much. They are still a hilarious group of ladies and this movie is definitely worth seeing whether you are a girl, guy or crazy bridezilla dying to see any possible flick having to do with a wedding.
I give this movie 4 Bridal Shower Gift Puppies out of 5!

LaSalle Signature 2011

LaSalle Signature 2011 was Sunday May 8th at the Olympic Stadium. The crowd of 5000 people was blown away by the collections presented by the 2011 Graduating class at LaSalle College in Montreal.
The show started with group projects designed based on various themes and towards the end were individual projects inspired by insects. All designs and collections were absolutely outstanding!
A few that caught my eye and can be seen below
